Results from the ICLR.net member survey

Thank you to the ICLR.net members who took the time to complete the online survey asking for feedback on the ICLR.net website.  The key findings were as follows:

  • The most valued features were: the newsletter, the directory of members and the research bank.
  • 90% of respondents said they would like to engage more with ICLR.net by: contributing content, articles and stories and/or by becoming involved in topic-focused working groups.
  • There was a lack of awareness of the online community groups feature and those that were aware found that having to log-on to read and respond to comments was a barrier to them using it.
  • Content types that respondents would like to see introduced in the future: relevant webinars, best practice guides and tool kits and blogs by members.

Over the coming months we are going to look in to the possibility of creating some topic-focused working groups with the objective of producing insights and guidance that would be of real practical use to our members as well as also helping to encourage dialogue and collaborative working between legal regulators outside of the annual conference.  We initially resisted the idea of setting up working groups as we did not want to add to the workload of our members, but if there is real interest and need we are happy to investigate further and support this initiative.

We are also looking in to options for providing a ‘reply by email’ feature for the online communities, which should make it easier to post and respond to comments.  We will also continue to diversify our content by building up more practical-focused resources.  If you have any content that you would like to share with the community please do send it through to us, or post it in the community groups.

Whilst the questionnaire is no longer live, if you have any questions, comments or suggestions please feel free to share them with us at contact@iclr.staging.iepreview.co.uk.
